On August 24, the Yong'an Municipal Working Committee on Caring for the Next Generation held an “Autumn Scholarship” symposium at Fujian Heqichang Bamboo Product Co., Ltd. During the event, scholarships named after the Yong'an Municipal Working Committee and funded by Yu Xianlu, Chairman of Fujian Heqichang Bamboo Product Co., Ltd. and specially invited Deputy Director of the Committee, were presented to students in need.

The symposium was attended by Zheng Jicheng, Director of the Yong'an Municipal Working Committee on Caring for the Next Generation; Jiang Zhicheng, Executive Deputy Director; Yu Yan, President of Fujian Heqichang Bamboo Product Co., Ltd.; relevant company representatives; as well as representatives of previously supported university students and this year’s scholarship recipients.

This year marks the 12th consecutive year that Heqichang Chairman Yu Xianlu has supported students from financially disadvantaged families. Since 2015, five new university students recommended by the Municipal Working Committee each year have received RMB 3,000 in annual financial support until graduation. This year, a total of 20 university students from Yong'an received assistance.

At the symposium, Zheng Jicheng presented Yu Yan, President of Fujian Heqichang Bamboo Product Co., Ltd., with an honorary certificate recognizing her as a “Caring Donor for Student Aid.”

During the discussion, previously supported students shared their experiences of learning and personal growth during their university years. This year's new recipients also expressed their gratitude to the Municipal Working Committee and the caring enterprise, saying they would cherish the opportunity, study diligently, and continue to improve themselves.

During the event, the students also visited Heqichang's exhibition hall, gaining a deeper understanding of the company's development history, industrial layout, technological innovation, and corporate culture. Through such exchanges, Heqichang hopes to help young students better understand the development of enterprises in their hometown while creating an opportunity to pass on the spirit of growth, dedication, and responsibility.

Looking ahead, Heqichang will actively fulfill its social responsibilities, and remain committed to supporting education and youth development. By bringing together more acts of kindness and extending warmth and care, Heqichang will continue to empower young people in pursuing their dreams and contribute greater strength to the development of its hometown and public welfare initiatives.
